Port Townsend Indivisible is about ACTION!!
Who are we?
Port Townsend Indivisible is a local, grassroots group that works to fight Trump and Musk’s agenda and advocate for our rights. We are an entirely self-funded, volunteer-run organization.
What do we do?
Civilian demonstrations
Timely, important action items — contacting representatives about bills and other government actions
Monthly meetings to discuss issues and stay updated on what’s happening

What can I do TODAY?
Contact your representatives – we have a list of contact information for state and federal representatives for our district.
Okay, but what should I say? The ACLU has advice on how to write to your representative. You can also thank your representative for work they’re doing that you appreciate.
Express your opinion on specific bills – use takeaction.network to see current bills in Washington and easily let legislators know what you think. Waledge is another resource for keeping up with Washington legislative actions.
Check the national Indivisible web to speak up on national issues.
You can also sign up for the national Indivisible newsletter if you want weekly to-dos on national issues.
Okay, I did that. What’s next?
Sign up for the PT Indivisible newsletter, join our Facebook group, and/or follow us on Bluesky to get information about what our group is doing.
Attend a PT Indivisible meeting or a demonstration. It’s important to show up in person when you can!
If you’re mostly concerned about a specific issue, use our contact page to contact the facilitator in charge of that group to find out how you can be more involved. If you don’t see the issue you care about most listed on the page, maybe YOU can start that group!
